On the 13th-14th of May the executives of Lindauer DORNIER GmbH (one of the world’s leaders in manufacturing equipment production) visited two structural units of Megapolis Group Holding Company – Donetskaya Manufactura factory and Waterfall PRO factory.
Lindauer Dornier and Megapolis Group have long-term partnership relations. The first looms by the German partners were installed on Donetskaya Manufactura in 2005. In the fourth quarter of 2013 Dornier will start to supply its equipment to Waterfall PRO BOPP-film factory, which is now being realized by Megapolis Group.
On their visit to DM Textile production site Peter D.Dornier, the Chairman of board of directors of Dornier Company, and Bernhard Wandinger, Dornier Sales Director, examined the weaving, the sewing and the dyeing-and-finishing departments. After the survey they discussed the prospects of further cooperation.
Industrial engineering, technological infrastructure of the factory and the quality of the production received the highest assessment of the German experts. “I haven’t seen such a perfectly organized terry production for a long time – and not only in Europe, but in the whole world”, Peter Dornier said, “Today we have seen the most up-to-date equipment, and we have been once again struck by the high quality and stylish design of the production”.
On their visit the German delegation also came to see Waterfall PRO factory building site – the project of BOPP-film producing factory, which is unique to Russia. Peter Dornier and Bernhard Wandinger got acquainted with the project management team, discussed various issues on cooperation between Russian and German experts, their plans for equipment supplies and placement, as well as providing the production with qualified personnel. Lindauer Dornier will supply two production lines to the factory, having the total production capacity of 60 thousand tons per year.
Supply of the equipment will start in 2014, installation of the first line of the production equipment and its testing is planned to be carried out in the middle of 2015.
